12 grain Banana and Pear Bread Muffins


  • 2 cups of 12 grain flour
  • 1 tbs of baking powder
  • 1/3 cup of butter or coconut oil melted
  • 1/2 cup of cashew milk
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 pear peeled and grated
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup optional
  • 1 egg


  • Mix together the flour, baking powder and grated pear.
  • In a separate bowl whisk together the banana, egg, butter, cashew milk and maple syrup.
  • Add the wet mix to the flour and stir till it is all combined.
  • Spoon into muffin cases and bake for approx 35-40 mins (skewer entered into the centre should come out clear).
  • Slice in half and top with spread of your choice.
