This is the first installment of photo’s I will share of my son’s lunch boxes. His school operates two snack breaks, rather than one lunch break, so more often that not you will see his lunch boxes is equally divided into two smaller snacks, rather than one.
As my son is quite fussy too, I have to be inventive to try and make sure his lunch box is as healthy as possible. He loves fruit which helps, but hates most vegetables/salad stuff.
This box contains:
Snack 1:
- Homemade Pineapple and Mango Muffin (recipe coming soon)
- Orange Slices
Snack 2:
- Parmesan and Spinach Twists – recipe here
- Yoghurt Tube
- Fresh Grapes
as well as the above, I also send him with a water flask and a fresh 100% Juice box.

This looks great. Both the parmesan twists and mango muffins sound/look yum! If the muffin recipe is on the website will give them a go this week 🙂
